The truth hurts and as long as Democrats continue to ignore the truth, well, that’s good for us and that was no more apparent than what occurred after the CNN Democrat Presidential Primary Debate on Tuesday night. Liberals fumed at former Obama czar Van Jones over a comment he made about President Trump after the debate.
Van Jones was very dissatisfied after the debate, he did not appreciate the bad blood that is now between Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Senator Bernie Sanders (D-VT).
“To see those two have that level of vitriol was very dispiriting,” Jones said as the panel was discussing what occurred when Warren refused to shake Sanders hand at the of the debate.
Before the debate reports surfaced that in a private conversation Sanders told Warren that he didn’t think a woman could win the presidency. When Sanders was confronted during the debate he denied the story. Warren claimed that only she and Senator Amy Klobuchar had never lost an election. At the end of the debate, Warren would not shake Sanders’s hand when he extended it.
Van Jones continued to voice his dissatisfaction and said, “The Democrats are going to have to do better than what we saw tonight,” he said. “There was [no one] I saw tonight that would be able to take Donald Trump out – and I want to see a Democrat in the White House as soon as possible.”
“There was nothing tonight that, if you’re looking at this thing, you say, ‘Any of these people are prepared for what Donald Trump’s going to do to us,’” Jones continued, “and to see further division tonight is very dispiriting.”

Well that lit a fire under liberals furious over Van Jones comments but, Van Jones wasn’t done and shortly thereafter posted on his twitter account, “I had high expectations for the candidates during tonight’s #DemDebate, but there was a spark missing on stage. It felt like cold oatmeal to me. Do you agree? @CNN.

Disagree completely, Van. @BernieSanders is ready to take on Trump in a debate. And let’s not give Trump too much credit. Trump will do something unhinged and rampantly lie on a debate stage. We need someone who can fact-check him in real time. Bernie can do that. #FEELTHEBERN

Democrats, liberals, and progressives can ignore the facts all they want, they don’t have a chance with these candidates at taking down President Trump.
