Watch: Bernie Sanders Throws A Temper Tantrum Over COVID Relief Bill, Unmasks Pelosi

Democrats have been trying to blame Republicans for stalling the coronavirus relief packages to help Americans. For the most part, they’ve failed however, Senator Bernie Sanders Threw Pelosi under the bus and admitted Democrats were stalling the entire time.

During an interview on CNN, host Jake Tapper asked Sanders if it was a mistake for Democrats to walk away from the stand-alone White House bill which would have put an additional $1,200 in the pockets of all Americans.

Sander’s admitted that Democrats used Pelosi’s $2.2 trillion bill to stall relief efforts during the election. Now that the election is over Democrats have agreed to a bipartisan package introduced by Senate Republicans.

Bernie actually wanted the President’s deal, only more, and wanted Pelosi to negotiate but she didn’t. The Speaker of the House did not want relief coming to Americans before the election so she held the country hostage.

“What we need is a compromise. I know I can’t get everything that I want. But this bill really is not a compromise,” Sanders said of a $908 billion stimulus package that a bipartisan group of senators introduced last week. “It gives the Republicans almost everything that they wanted.”

Sanders is obviously mad Democrats didn’t try to negotiate harder and is throwing Pelosi under the bus as payback.

The bill allows $300 billion in funding for small businesses through the Paycheck Protection Program, $240 billion in aid for state and local government, $180 Billion to extend boosted unemployment benefits at $300 per week for four months, and issues a temporary moratorium on COVID-19 liability lawsuits to allow states time to design their own laws. There is no second stimulus check.

Sanders seems to be pretty annoyed to sell out Pelosi like that. However, even she admitted that she blocked relief and was “proud” of her work.

Pelosi and the Democrats purposely allowed Americans to suffer to help them win the 2020 elections. Congressional races have shown that this strategy backfired and I don’t think Americans are going to forget the games Democrats played this year.
