Democrat Virginia Delegate Mark Levine made a total fool of himself while pushing for a ban on “assault weapons” when confronted by a voter.
After SB16 was abandoned by Virginia Democrats, Levine is now pushing House Bill 961 in another attempt to ban “assault weapons,” very similar to SB16 this bill would also use the licensing information of those that own AR-15’s to create a database of “assault weapons” owners so the government will know who owns the firearms and where they are located.
However, when a voter confronted Levine and asked him to define an “assault weapon” the democrat stuttered and stammered. He sounded like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi off her meds stating something about shotguns and hunting rifles, saying shotguns are deadly – because only certain guns are deadly (sarcasm) – and that hunters eject spent shells from their rifles by pulling back a bolt.
Not once did Levine even mention that AR-15s and Ar-10s are semiautomatic rifles and clearly he has no idea how popular the AR platform is for hunting. ATF Associate Deputy Director Ronald Turk reported that the AR AK-style rifles “are now standard for hunting activities.”
On January 20, 2017, the Washington Post published a “White Paper” wherein Turk wrote, “The use of AR-15s, AK-style, and similar rifles now commonly referred to as “modern sporting rifles” has increased exponentially in sport shooting. These firearm types are now standard for hunting activities. ATF could re-examine its 20-year-old study to bring it up to date with the sport shooting landscape of today, which is vastly different than it was years ago.”
Levine said that the difference between an “assault weapon” and other firearms is how you hold them. He also stated that a “pistol grip,” “flash suppressor” or “a silencer” also clarify a firearm as an “assault weapon.”
This is pathetic. But, funny.

Levine wasn’t the only fool in the Democrat party, “Squad” member Rep. Tlaib was caught trying to delete one of her posts that attacked Jews and Rep. Schiff has been exposed for concealing important evidence to the President’ legal team.
