The people of Michigan spoke loud and clear during operation gridlock, however, their Gov. Gretchen Whitmer says it’s ok to have authoritarian rules because of “snow.”
Authoritarianism is okay because its snowing…
I forgot the founding fathers put that in there “We the people- except if it is snowing”

On Wednesday the Michigan Conservative Coalition held a massive vehicle protest in opposition of Whitmer’s extreme stay at home order. Don’t let the media tell you it was a small protest they jammed the streets. I can only imagine the meltdown Whitmer had when she saw this. She’s also not going to like her new nickname “Gov Half Whit.”

More than an hour before the “Operation Gridlock” rally, trucks bedecked in flags, pulling boat trailers, sporting hand painted messages on their roofs have gathered around the state Capitol.
A decent amount of protesters are on foot as well. pic.twitter.com/I9lEfITahU— Beth LeBlanc (@DNBethLeBlanc) April 15, 2020

Thousands of people from all over Michigan are converging on our state Capitol today to protest the governor’s restrictive “Stay Home” order and get their voices, and car horns, heard. #OperationGridlock pic.twitter.com/bgjH4wKCUQ

Half protest, half Trump rally is how I would characterize #OperationGridlock in Michigan. Protesters echo “Half Whit”nickname @realDonaldTrump bestowed on Gov. Whitmer, call on her to reopen the economy. pic.twitter.com/ui8Y4JFVDS
