Well, folks, President Joe Biden finally said the quiet part out loud. At a campaign stop in New Hampshire, Biden slipped up and echoed a phrase that should sound pretty familiar: “We gotta lock him up.” That’s right, the same line Democrats have been clutching their pearls over since Trump supporters started chanting it at Hillary Clinton. But this time, it’s Biden himself leading the charge.
Now, Biden tried to clean up his mess by quickly adding, “Politically lock him up… lock him out.” Sure, Joe, that’s definitely what you meant. You can almost picture his team scrambling in the background, trying to rewrite history by saying Biden was just talking about “politically” locking Trump out of office. But let’s face it—Biden’s slip was just another window into what’s really been going on behind the scenes: they’ll do anything to keep Trump from coming back.

Naturally, Trump’s camp wasted no time hitting back. Karoline Leavitt from the Trump campaign hit the nail on the head when she said Biden and Kamala Harris “can’t beat him fair and square.” And honestly, who could argue? With all the investigations, indictments, and now Biden’s “oops” moment, it’s clear the Democrats are pulling every lever they can find to take Trump out.
And the best part? While Biden is out here pretending he wants to keep things civil, he’s the one saying we need to “lock him up.” Meanwhile, Trump has been pretty direct about his feelings, too. He’s had no problem calling Harris and other Democrats “criminals.” And why shouldn’t he? The Harris-Biden administration has been a trainwreck, and Biden’s barely able to stay awake long enough to put together a coherent sentence, let alone run a campaign.

But here’s the kicker: Biden isn’t even spending much time on the campaign trail. He’s too busy jetting off to Germany and making pit stops for prescription drug prices with Bernie Sanders. That’s right—Bernie’s still hanging around, reminding everyone that the Democrats are drifting further left by the day. And while Biden’s talking to world leaders about how terrified they are of Trump returning to power, back home, his poll numbers are tanking, and even Kamala doesn’t want to be seen on stage with him.
