Whoopsi Goldberg Says Maybe White Kids Should Feel Like Oppressors – Watch

Whoopsi Goldberg is at it again! The controversial actress and host of “The View” said on Thursday’s show that it might be good to teach Critical Race Theory to kids. She argued that maybe white kids deserved to feel like the oppressors

Goldberg talked from both sides of her mouth because she still insists that elements of Critical Race Theory are not being taught to young children, she then suggested that conservative objections were misplaced.

Republican co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin used the conversation to criticize Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL). She claimed that efforts to block certain parts of an African American Studies class were in fact “erasing history.” She then made the overstatement that children in Florida would no longer be taught about slavery or the American Civil War.

Gov. DeSantis has made it clear that students in his state would still be taught history and he gave this explanation for blocking the controversial course: “They’re advocating things like abolishing prisons. Now that’s a radical political position. You’re free to take that in your own life, I don’t think very many people think that would actually work, but how is that being taught as fact? … That is more ideology being used under the guise of history, and we want to do history.”

Goldberg then went on to imply that there was no validity to the complaints coming in from those on the Right. She argued that if history made people feel bad about who they were then maybe they should feel bad.

“Think about this: if you’re so concerned that your children — and particularly I’m talking about white children because that’s the conversation that they seem to be having — if you’re so concerned that white children are going to feel bad because history happened and they happen to be white, how do you think black kids are feeling?” she asked.

Goldberg said that the great thing about America has always been that we know we “step in it, but we try to step back from it.”

She said that the GOP was trying to stop the country from stepping back — and in doing so, was attempting to “erase” people.
