You Won’t Believe What Biden’s Doing at the Border Now – Watch

The Biden administration is continuing to release migrants into the United States without any ability to track them, a move that is being criticized by Republicans and some Democrats.

The administration is preparing a memo for Border Patrol agents that would direct them to release migrants into the U.S. interior and they will not be given a date for an immigration court and again, there is no plan in place to track them, according to NBC News.

This move comes as the administration fights to contain a growing surge of illegal immigration prompted by the court-ordered repeal of Title 42. “We’re already breaking and we haven’t hit the starting line,” one DHS official told NBC News.

The U.S. counted more than 11,000 migrant apprehensions at the border in a single day, that is a new record.

“The Biden administration’s open borders policy is a national security threat,” said Republican Senator Tom Cotton. “By releasing migrants into the country without any way to track them, the administration is making it easier for terrorists and criminals to enter the United States.”

Some Democrats have also expressed concern about the Biden administration’s immigration policies.

“The Biden administration needs to do more to secure our border and stop releasing migrants into the country without any way to track them,” said Democratic Senator Kyrsten Sinema. “This is a security risk and it’s not fair to the American people.”

Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) called the strategy “unacceptable.”

“Instead of enforcing U.S. immigration laws, Biden is enabling mass catch and release,” Abbott tweeted. “America is a nation of laws. This must end.”

The Biden administration is also reviving a Trump-era immigration policy that President Joe Biden was critical of during the 2020 election. The Biden administration finalized a rule that disqualifies migrants from applying for asylum in the U.S. if they neglected to first apply for asylum in other countries they traveled through, such as Mexico.

“This is the first president in the history of the United States of America that anybody seeking asylum has to do it in another country,” Biden said during the final debate of the campaign. “That’s never happened before in America.”
