Bill Clinton Does Rally

It looks like Bill Clinton let a little too much truth slip out this week while he was campaigning for Kamala Harris.

During a stop in Georgia, he actually admitted that the tragic murder of 26-year-old Georgia nursing student Laken Riley was a result of the poorly secured southern border under—you guessed it—the Biden-Harris administration.

Now, let’s be clear: this is the same border that’s been leaking like a sieve since the moment Biden took office, and Clinton’s own party has done little to fix it. But hey, at least Bill had the decency to admit the obvious: innocent Americans are dying because of this administration’s complete failure to secure the border.

Clinton brought up Riley’s death while addressing the crowd, acknowledging that she was killed by a criminal illegal alien who had slipped into the country under Biden’s watch. “They made an ad about it, a young woman who had been killed by an immigrant,” he said, almost casually. Then came the kicker: “If they’d all been properly vetted, that probably wouldn’t have happened.” Well, there you have it. Even Bill Clinton can’t spin this disaster. If the border was secure and illegal immigrants were vetted properly, tragedies like this wouldn’t occur.

But instead of taking responsibility, Clinton tried to blame Trump for a failed border bill earlier this year. Nice try, Bill, but facts matter. That bill was a joke to begin with, facing heavy pushback from Republicans for being weak and doing nothing to actually solve the border crisis. Oh, and by the way, Laken Riley was killed long before that bill was even on the table. So, trying to pin this on Trump doesn’t hold water.

What Clinton conveniently left out of his little speech is that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has been sitting on a Republican-supported border security bill for nearly two years. The bill passed the House, but Schumer refuses to bring it to a vote because—surprise, surprise—it actually secures the border. Funny how the Democrats always seem to find reasons not to secure the southern border, even when American lives are at stake.

Meanwhile, the National Border Patrol Council has had enough of the Harris-Biden chaos and has thrown its support behind Trump. In a statement, the organization, which represents 16,000 Border Patrol agents, endorsed Trump for president, saying, “We strongly support and endorse Donald J. Trump for President of the United States.” No wonder—they’ve seen firsthand how Biden’s open-border policies have made their jobs impossible.

So, while Bill Clinton tried to deflect and downplay the situation, the truth is glaring: the Biden-Harris administration’s disastrous border policies are costing American lives. And as much as they’d like to point fingers elsewhere, the blame squarely lies with them.
