Nick Freitas Warns America On Britain’s Migration Path

Former Virginia delegate Nick Freitas is warning Americans that the United Kingdom is on a dangerous path. He says decades of mass migration and a refusal to demand assimilation are causing a deep identity crisis. This crisis is now becoming a significant problem in the United States, according to the Daily Signal.

Freitas made a new documentary called “The Immigration Crisis That Will Destroy the West.” He created the film with The Heritage Foundation and The Blaze. The project features experts Mike Gonzalez, Nile Gardiner, and Lora Ries. Freitas traveled to Britain to see how shared heritage could be lost to opposing worldviews. He told the Daily Signal that the result of this shift is “ultimately destructive.”

The film highlights a specific scandal involving grooming gangs in Britain. Freitas notes that the overwhelming majority of men who organized this abuse were Pakistani. British police were often reluctant to pursue these men because they feared being called Islamophobic. “That should just absolutely baffle us,” Freitas said. He argues that America has gone down a similar path regarding these cultural clashes.

Freitas believes the solution starts with how families engage in their own communities. He urges parents to vote in primaries, where he estimates only 7% to 8% of voters participate. He also warns that local public schools may not reflect a family’s values, even in conservative areas. “The teachers don’t select the curriculum,” he said. Instead, he calls on parents to teach their children the real history of the United States at home.

Archbishop Fulton Sheen offered a similar warning about the spiritual roots of cultural decay decades ago. The Daily Citizen reports that Sheen recently received a Catholic honor called beatification in St. Louis. Over 50,000 people attended the ceremony at The Dome at America’s Center. Sheen was the first American priest to hold this distinction.

In 1948, Sheen wrote that dangerous political ideologies would fill a spiritual vacuum in the West. According to him, the Western world is witnessing a return of Communism due to the death of something within it: the robust faith people once held in the God who created them. He also predicted a false church that would mimic the true Church but lack its divine content.

Sheen’s television show “Life is Worth Living” drew 30 million viewers each week in the 1950s. He won an Emmy for the program and gave a brief acceptance speech. Holding the trophy, he joked that he wished to thank his writers: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

Freitas and Sheen both point to a loss of faith and shared values as the root of the problem. Freitas says America can change course if parents take action now. He says the surest way our country doesn’t follow Britain’s path is by teaching real history to the next generation. The choice to protect the nation’s identity lies with families, not just politicians.
