North Carolina Vice Mayor Under Investigation

Another day, another Democrat caught playing fast and loose with the rules the rest of us are expected to follow. According to a new report flagged by Matt Van Swol — our trusted eyes and ears in North Carolina — Asheville Vice Mayor Antanette Mosley is now under investigation for a potential case of double voting and tax fraud that stretches across two states and multiple election cycles.

Let’s break this down.

Mosley has reportedly filed for reelection, despite growing evidence that she may have voted in both North Carolina and Georgia during the 2008, 2012, and 2014 elections — a clear violation of election law if proven true. And while we’re told by Democrats and the media that “voter fraud doesn’t happen,” here we have yet another high-profile elected official under investigation.

It gets worse.

While serving on Asheville’s City Council — a position that legally requires primary residency in Asheville — Mosley has also been claiming a primary residence tax break in Atlanta, according to The Asheville Watchdog. That exemption is available only to those who live permanently in the Atlanta property. You can’t claim residency in two states to dodge taxes and hold public office. That’s not just unethical — it could be criminal.

The North Carolina State Board of Elections confirmed that an investigation is underway, citing concerns about potential unlawful voting activity and voter registration fraud. Whether the complaint came from a private citizen or a political party doesn’t change the seriousness of the allegations. If true, this is not a paperwork oversight. This is systemic abuse of the voting system and a betrayal of public trust.

Let’s be honest: if this were a Republican, the media would be running wall-to-wall coverage and screaming about “threats to democracy.” But since Mosley is a Democrat, and a Vice Mayor at that, we’re supposed to look the other way? Not a chance.

This is far from the first time a Democrat has been caught falsifying a primary residence to maintain power or dodge tax liability — and yet we’re told voter fraud is a myth. Tell that to the people of Asheville, who may have been represented by someone who wasn’t even legally qualified to serve.

And here’s the kicker: she’s running again. With zero accountability, zero explanation, and zero apology. Just more shamelessness.
