There’s a certain kind of delusion that stops being funny and starts becoming dangerous. Watching Joy Reid this week is a masterclass in that exact transformation. Because while social media cycles through her latest clips with equal parts amusement and exasperation, it’s worth remembering something very real: this woman was being paid millions by MSNBC to say these things on national television.
Millions.
🚨NEW: Joy Reid *actually thinks* “mainstream media” covered Biden’s decline nonstop — and is COVERING UP for Trump🚨
“The mainstream media will not touch these questions about Donald Trump’s obviously declining health!”

Two clips of Reid went viral this week—both for all the wrong reasons. The first? Her absolutely shameless retconning of the media’s role in covering former President Joe Biden’s mental decline. According to Reid, the media has been tough on Biden’s health. Tough. As in, vigilant watchdogs, holding power to account.
Which is, of course, the exact opposite of what happened.
The reality is that for years, Biden’s slow-motion cognitive collapse was treated like a right-wing conspiracy theory. The same media outlets that had entire teams dissecting Trump’s water-drinking technique and ramp-walking speed offered nothing but puff pieces and flattering angles on Biden’s performance—even as he struggled to form coherent sentences, wandered offstage, or stared blankly into the void like someone trying to remember what planet they’re on.
Her truth…..
Her history…..
Her narrative….
Her lack of integrity…..
Her failing memory…..
Her cover up…..Joy…..you need to be quiet.

President Trump, meanwhile, has been publicly transparent about his health—right down to his chronic venous insufficiency and the aftermath of the attempted assassination in Butler, Pennsylvania. That brings us to Reid’s second viral clip.
In this one, she goes full-tinfoil denialist, openly suggesting the attempted assassination of a president—which unfolded on live television, left one man dead, two others seriously injured, and Trump’s ear bloodied by a sniper’s bullet—might not have even happened. Her logic? The ear “looked fine,” the bandage “disappeared,” and the media hasn’t demanded medical records fast enough for her taste.

This is the same Joy Reid who once blamed time-traveling hackers for writing homophobic posts on her old blog. Yes, really. According to her, a group of cyber-ghosts with a grudge against MSNBC somehow breached the space-time continuum just to make her look bad. But sure, let’s trust her as a voice of reason on presidential security and media ethics.
It’s not an act. And that’s the truly frightening part.
Joy Reid claims the media covered Biden’s decline “nonstop” — I guess we all hallucinated that 3-year blackout where CNN called him “sharp as ever” while he was shaking hands with ghosts.

There was a time when someone ranting about “magical doctors” and “disappearing ears” on a YouTube livestream would be written off as fringe. But Reid sat at a primetime desk for one of America’s biggest news networks, delivering this brand of lunacy with the MSNBC seal of approval—and a massive paycheck to match.
