Hello Everyone. Let’s dive into the latest political drama unfolding in New York. Over the weekend, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) rallied in support of their fellow progressive, Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY). Bowman is facing a tough race against moderate Democrat George Latimer, who is currently leading in the polls by double digits. This has prompted Bowman’s Squad and socialist allies to pull out all the stops in a last-ditch effort to save his campaign.

The rally was nothing short of chaotic. Bowman was a bundle of energy, jumping up and down, cursing, waving his arms, and even pounding a chair on stage while chanting for a “ceasefire now” in Gaza. His passionate outburst included repeated shouts of, “We are gonna show them who the f— we are!”
AOC matched Bowman’s fervor, leaping around the stage like a high school cheerleader and loudly proclaiming their mission to “take the state and country back.” But one has to wonder, who exactly are they taking it back from, considering Democrats are currently in control?
NEW: AOC goes on screaming rant and knocks over her mic while talking about taking “this country back” as Cardi B music blasts in the background.
Someone may need to do a wellness check on this woman.

The political landscape in New York is looking increasingly unfavorable for the Democrats. Sky News’ Rita Panahi highlighted that President Joe Biden is only eight percent ahead in what is supposed to be a solidly blue state. This is a stark indicator of the dissatisfaction with the current Democratic leadership.
The rally itself was a stark contrast to the enthusiasm seen for former President Donald Trump in the same area. Despite their efforts, AOC and Bowman could only muster a few hundred attendees, a stark difference from the thousands that turned out for Trump in the South Bronx in May. The low turnout doesn’t bode well for Bowman’s chances, showing a lack of enthusiasm even in deep-blue New York.
Adding to the spectacle, AOC and Bowman faced heckling from far-left protesters who accused them of being “sellouts” over their stance on Gaza. The protesters chanted that AOC’s “hands were red” and criticized both her and Bowman for not fully endorsing Palestine to their satisfaction.
Outside the park, the radical group Within Our Lifetime, led by Nerdeen Kiswani and Fatima Mousa, held their own event titled “Flood the Bronx for Gaza.” They targeted Sanders and AOC, labeling them as “sellouts” for not supporting Palestine strongly enough. Some protesters banged drums, while others held signs with slogans like “For class war to free Palestine! Dump Genocide Joe and the Squad.”
Kiswani demanded that if AOC and Bowman wanted to be considered allies, they should at least refuse to endorse Joe Biden, whom the protesters accused of supporting “genocide” in Gaza. This internal conflict among the left is almost comical, as even staunch progressives like AOC are not immune to being branded as traitors by their more radical counterparts.
The rally was a perfect example of the left’s tendency to self-destruct with infighting, unrealistic demands, and, honestly, complete craziness. It’s unlikely these tactics will win them any new supporters. Stay tuned, folks, as the political circus continues.
