Ah, yes—Her Imperial Majesty, Dowager-Empress of Chappaqua, has once again graced the public discourse with her infinite wisdom, this time lecturing the new Secretary of Transportation about the dangers of youth in government. Because if there’s anything Hillary Clinton and her fellow career politicians have demonstrated over the years, it’s their unimpeachable ability to not drive the country into a ditch. Oh, wait.
The hypocrisy here is almost too much to process. This is the same party that wants to hand over the right to vote to 16-year-olds—kids who still need a permission slip to go on a field trip—but suddenly, hiring young, fresh minds to revamp a crumbling government system is a bridge too far? Really?
The Democratic Party has spent years telling us that 12-year-olds should be able to make irreversible medical decisions, that teenagers should be allowed to determine their own gender, and that the wisdom of youth is something to be celebrated—except when it doesn’t align with their bureaucratic stranglehold.
.@ChelseaClinton, return those $84 million tax payers dollars.
Now you see why democrats don’t want @elonmusk to pull that sheet off? Corruption everywhere! #gapol @ajc #crooks @HillaryClinton @BillClinton pic.twitter.com/hjJCHWljrQ

And then there’s the sheer gall of this particular scolding coming from someone whose husband—lest we forget—took “youth outreach” a little too literally back in the 90s. Maybe Hillary isn’t the best person to be talking about the age of government employees, considering Bill’s well-documented fondness for young interns. But hey, let’s not let a few decades of inconvenient history get in the way of some elite finger-wagging.
I don’t think that President Bill Clinton’s wife ought to be mentioning “unvetted 22-year-olds” in any public context whatsoever. 🔥 https://t.co/YWxtE9lhfL pic.twitter.com/FnAozaqY4t

Of course, Secretary Sean Duffy wasn’t having any of it. With all the patience of a man dealing with an out-of-touch grandparent at Thanksgiving, he politely but firmly reminded Her Majesty that Washington’s experienced bureaucrats are precisely the reason the country’s infrastructure is a bloated, mismanaged mess. And he’s absolutely right. The federal government, under the watchful eyes of seasoned professionals like Hillary, has become little more than a money pit where taxpayer dollars go to die. The only thing these entrenched career politicians have built is their own net worth.
Madam Secretary, with all due respect, “experienced” Washington bureaucrats are the reason our nation’s infrastructure is crumbling. You need to sit this one out. pic.twitter.com/6IhE5xLxV8

So why not bring in young, talented outsiders who aren’t beholden to the decades-old backroom deals and political slush funds that have kept Washington running in circles? The old guard has had their turn, and what do we have to show for it? Collapsing bridges, perpetually delayed rail projects, and an aviation system that still runs on outdated technology while government contractors rake in billions to “modernize” it at a snail’s pace.
But let’s be real. This isn’t about the age of government employees. It’s about power. Hillary, like so many of her fellow career politicians, doesn’t want fresh minds coming in and exposing just how broken and wasteful the system has become. She doesn’t want a new generation questioning why taxpayer dollars vanish into bureaucratic black holes while nothing actually improves. She certainly doesn’t want the American people to realize that the so-called experienced hands she’s defending are the very ones who made this mess in the first place.

Hillary Clinton, despite her insistence on staying in the spotlight, represents a political model that is not just old but fundamentally obsolete. The American people saw it in 2016 when they sent her packing in favor of a businessman with zero political experience. And judging by her latest misstep, she still hasn’t figured out why.
