McBride shot back with a snarky “Thank you, Madam Chair,” which, let’s be honest, was a weak attempt at a gotcha moment. But it was Keating who really stole the show. The Massachusetts Democrat took it upon himself to be the self-appointed defender of decorum, demanding Self repeat what he had said. And when Keating didn’t get the response he wanted, he turned up the dramatics to eleven.
“Mr. Chairman, you are out of order,” Keating huffed, acting as if Self had just committed a war crime instead of referring to a biological male with a male pronoun. Then came the pièce de résistance: “Mr. Chairman, have you no decency?”

Nancy Mace (R-SC) made headlines when she introduced a resolution to keep biological men out of women’s restrooms in Capitol buildings—a move that sent the Left into one of their trademark meltdowns. Mace put it bluntly at the time: “The sanctity of protecting women and standing up against the Left’s systematic erasure of biological women starts here in the nation’s Capitol.”
Naturally, McBride had a statement ready, expressing deep disappointment that the hearing was cut short. “I was prepared to move forward with my questions for the Subcommittee on nuclear nonproliferation and US support for Democratic allies in Europe,” he lamented.
Really? Because it sure seems like the only thing that mattered was ensuring that everyone played along with the Democrats’ latest linguistic gymnastics routine.
This is what happens when a party prioritizes identity politics over governance. The American people deserve lawmakers who focus on securing the country, not throwing tantrums over whether someone says “Mr.” instead of “Ms.” But as long as the Left continues to put woke ideology over actual leadership, expect more hearings to end in chaos—and for Americans to be left wondering when their representatives will finally start taking their jobs seriously.
