Ah, Tim Walz is at it again—defending Kamala Harris and taking cheap shots at Trump, all while making some rather questionable claims himself.
During his appearance on “The View” (because where else would you go for serious political commentary?), the Minnesota governor decided to double down on the myth that Kamala Harris once worked at McDonald’s. Without offering a shred of evidence, Walz said, “She actually worked in a McDonald’s,” clearly hoping no one would notice that the Free Beacon has already debunked that claim. But hey, when has a little thing like the truth ever stopped a Democrat-especially Walz- from pushing a narrative?
But wait, it gets better. Walz actually suggested that Trump “disrespected” McDonald’s workers by—wait for it—serving them food at a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania. Yes, apparently showing up at one of the most iconic fast-food chains in the country, throwing on an apron, and serving customers is now considered “disrespectful.” Walz’s logic here is about as flimsy as Harris’s McDonald’s resume.
Let’s face it, the only reason Walz is up in arms about Trump’s visit to McDonald’s is because it highlighted the glaring holes in Harris’s story. Trump was out there, doing what he does best—connecting with regular people and throwing some shade while he’s at it.
“I’ve now worked 15 minutes more than Kamala,” he quipped, leaving Walz and the rest of the left scrambling to defend their vice president’s increasingly dubious claim. Even McDonald’s itself, in a memo to franchise owners, admitted they have no records to verify Harris’s supposed stint under the Golden Arches in the early ’80s. Yet Walz and his ilk continue to push this story, hoping people won’t notice the lack of receipts.
im crying Donald Trump is so unserious, someone recorded him working at McDonalds and he said “I’ve now worked 15 more minutes than Kamala” 😭 pic.twitter.com/3JzGNSQp04

And then Walz shifts gears, claiming Trump’s policies have somehow “undermined” McDonald’s workers. Really? We’re supposed to believe that it’s Trump—who brought record-low unemployment and economic growth pre-pandemic—who’s hurting these workers?
Meanwhile, Harris and her boss, Joe Biden, are steering this country into an inflation crisis that’s wiping out the purchasing power of those very same workers. Let’s talk about “undermining” for a second: Bidenomics has jacked up the cost of everything from groceries to gas, yet Walz wants us to believe Trump is the bad guy here.
Walz also pulled out the old liberal chestnut that “every economist” supposedly agrees Trump’s policies would “drive up inflation.” Nice try, Tim, but it’s the Biden-Harris administration that’s overseen historic levels of inflation. From flooding the economy with trillions of dollars in unnecessary spending to keeping energy prices sky-high with their disastrous green policies, it’s Biden and Harris who are driving inflation, not Trump.
Walz attacks Trump for working at McDonald’s. He claims Trump was to “pander” and “disrespect McDonald’s workers by standing there in your red tie.” pic.twitter.com/GkEGQKOiZn

At the end of the day, this is just more of the same from Walz and his Democrat pals. Instead of facing the fact that Harris’s McDonald’s story is a nothingburger, they’re trying to turn Trump’s harmless visit into a scandal. However, the reality is clear: Trump’s the one actually engaging with everyday Americans, while Harris’s so-called “fond memories” of working at McDonald’s look more like a fast-food fantasy.
