Trump Abide By Ruling Before Appeal Process

Donald Trump has been hit with yet another frivolous NY State lawsuit that could cripple his financial standing. Not only was he ordered to pay a whopping $354 million in fines for fraud, but now the disgraced former President must pay an additional half a billion dollars as a bond before he can even consider appealing the ruling.

This outrageous and unprecedented legal attack on Trump has raised many eyebrows. Critics are questioning why he is the only person in the history of the state to be sued under an obscure New York fraud statute that does not require actual harm to be proven.

Furthermore, this statute effectively criminalizes common practices in the real estate industry, such as negotiating values with banks.

Attorney General Letitia James, who made targeting Trump a central promise of her campaign, claims that “no one is above the law.” However, her actions suggest otherwise. This case is the only one of its kind in the state, and the staggering fine imposed on Trump is far beyond what anyone else has ever faced.

Even more alarming is the fact that before Trump can even appeal the ruling, he must pay the entire amount in full. This includes interest, bringing the total to an astonishing $455 million.

This excessive amount makes it virtually impossible for Trump to appeal unless he declares bankruptcy or sells off assets at a significant loss.

Judge Arthur Engoron, who presided over the case, seems to relish in Trump’s downfall. By imposing such an astronomical figure, he has effectively made it impossible for Trump to defend himself. It is clear that Engoron is using his power to subvert justice rather than uphold it.

Furthermore, Engoron refused to even allow Trump to present a defense, instead declaring him guilty via summary judgment for the state. This blatant disregard for the rule of law is deeply concerning and raises serious questions about the judge’s motivations.

Many are calling for the fine to be reduced or dismissed entirely, as it is clearly excessive and baseless. It is a travesty of justice that one man can be so heavily targeted and persecuted by a corrupt legal system.

Donald Trump’s ongoing legal battles in New York are a clear demonstration of the lengths his enemies will go to in order to destroy him. This exorbitant fine and calculated legal maneuvering by Judge Engoron are nothing but a shameful abuse of power. It is a dark day for justice in New York.
